Q. What would the set-up cost be an are there any ongoing monthly fees to have  freeview or other free to air satellite channels ?

Q. Do I need a HD capable TV to View Digital Satellite TV ?

A. No any Tv set that has a video an audio outlet attached to the set can be used, ( required for the setup of the UltraPlus 680, 780/ 880 PVRs or Hyundai HSS-760A / Hyundai HSS-880HCI+PVR to the TV set, once connected you are then able to view Digital SatelliteTV ( satellite dish required ).

Q. Will I  be able to view Digital Satellite TV using a Freeview HD DTT Receiver that is used for the new land
based freeview transmissions ?

A. No to view Digital Satellite TV you will require a Digital Satellite Receiver our Hyundai / UltraPlus Range of
      Digital Satellite Receivers are mpeg2 compliant for all Satellites,  including the Freeview digital satellite service,
      a Freeview HD DTT Receiver ( is  for NZ Land Based Transmissions only ) an is a mpeg4 UHF Aerial Required
      unit  an not  compatible for Digital Satellite Services.

Q. To receive a Freeview Broadcast in High Definition using a Freeview HD DTT Receiver  which will be used in the Land Based Transmissions will I need an HD TV ?

A. Yes you will need to purchase a compatible HD TV / Plasma or LCD to take advantage of an HD broadcast a
      standard  TV will be unable to provide HD.

Q. Can I use my existing sky dish to view free to air channels on Optus D1 or other Satellites ?

A. Not recommended, unless you have purchased your own dish, sky does retain ownership of its dishes.

Q. What dish size could I use on your advertised  moteck dish mover  to receive other free to air TV channels?

A. 65cm up to a 110cm Dish being a standard size to a maximum size of 120cm, the size of Dish you use would of course depend on the satellites you wish to view channels from .
